WHO WE ARE
Refreshing Spring Community Church of God in Christ is a warm, vibrant, and growing church in Riverside, California.
Refreshing Spring Community Church of God in Christ (RSCC) is a Spirit-led and Bible-based ministry entrusted by God to disciple, develop, and train His people. He has given us a vision for His Church and a true love for His people.

Within the scope of our vision, is the mission to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and win souls to the Kingdom of God. Our concern is not only for the “spirit man,” but for the “natural man” as well. Through this ministry, we have witnessed lives changed through the Word of God, healed through the magnificent power of the Holy Spirit and prosper through practical teaching and development. It is our sincere endeavor to reach not only those who are spiritually lost, but to also develop those who desire a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.
What joy for those who can live in your house, always singing your praises. What joy for those whose strength comes from the LORD, who have set their minds on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs. Psalms 84:4-6 (New Living Translation)
Our Mission
Refreshing Spring Community Church of God in Christ (RSCC) is a Christ-centered, Spirit-led, Bible-teaching ministry. We are committed to glorifying God through worship, leading the lost to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior through evangelism, teaching, developing, and equipping every believer to do the work of the ministry through discipleship, and edifying one another through fellowship.
Our Vision
BUILDING UP AND REACHING OUT
We are a body of believers reaching out to the unsaved to become members of the body of Christ, compelling them to become members of and worship at Refreshing Spring Community Church of God in Christ. A ministry loving each other and working together, building up members into disciples of Jesus Christ.
What We Believe
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written word of God.

We believe that there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
​
We believe in the blessed hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at his return.
​
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
​
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
​
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.
​
We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for Him.
​
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in the present world.

OUR LEADERS
Pastor Renard L. Hamilton &
Sister Regina Hamilton
Truly God’s Appointed Leaders “Walking In Their Season”
Pastor Renard L. Hamilton is a great man of faith, determined to fulfill God’s purpose for his life by sharing the gospel, leading people to Christ and building the kingdom of God.
​
His philosophy of ministry is a simple one of practical application. He believes in a ministry that hears and understands what this generation is looking for and expecting. Pastor Hamilton has been a member of Refreshing Community Church since 1999. He received his Minister license in October 2006. In his role as a Minister, he could be seen praying and ministering to those in need. On June 26, 2009, Pastor Hamilton was ordained as an Elder by Bishop Charles E. Blake, Sr. As an Elder, he has stayed fervently committed to serving the Lord and the members of Refreshing Spring. As the need arose, Pastor Hamilton continued to serve and help the ministry in many capacities. He has served in the Riverside District as the Finance Chairman and in the San Bernardino Region as Finance
Committee Vice Chairman.

As he stayed dedicated and committed to Refreshing Spring, his role was elevated to Assistant Pastor where he continued to work alongside Pastor Davis to build the ministry up. Even during the uncertain times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Pastor Hamilton took the church to new heights through implementing virtual ministry and finding innovative ways to keep the congregation connected.
​
After 28 years of ministry, Pastor Emeritus Bobby A. Davis decided he would be entering retirement. After much prayer and consideration, Pastor Hamilton answered the call to pastor and was installed as the Senior Pastor of Refreshing Spring Community Church in January 2023. Pastor Hamilton and his wife, Regina, who serves faithfully by his side, have been married for over 33 years. They have three adult children, Richmond, Riley and Chanel, who all actively serve in the ministry.
Professionally, Pastor Hamilton is a realtor by trade. He continues to use his strong administrative background to serve the community and promote generational wealth and equality.
